Opps

Tuesday. Work is on. We headed out to our first job and low and behold we followed the sat nav along the course. It did however send us out toward Black Mountain in the Breacon Beacons national park. Now this is where we did the walk to the top of Pen-Y-Fan so there was a good chance that there would be a hear of snow still about. As the road ascended we came to the start of the park and there was a road closed ahead sign. We did see a local that was coming off the road in a basic car and after asking we headed off. Going up was fine, but desecending was another matter. I crawled the van down the hill as slow as I could, and after passing am abandoned van we came to a hair pin turn. I approached as slowly as possible but as soon as I turned the back end of the van started to slide out. Out it went and close to the edge of the road and a long way down before the wheels gained traction and we were able to safetly continue our journey. A hell of a scare though. The picture is what the road looked like at the start of the descend.
