This weekend I had a great quiet relaxing time. Sarah came to Londinium for the weekend and arrived on her train Friday evening, on-time for a change, which was great. My Friday had started out pretty good as well. I ended up going to the pub right after school, which turned out to be a fantastic idea. This was because after the pub, I ended up going back to the school for ballroom dancing lessons! These turned out to be a fun laugh, much to the annoyance of the dance instructor. I started off learning a waltz, a different waltz and a part of the samba. It was O.K., but I don't know if I will go back, ill see. After the dancing it was back to the pub before running off to meet Sarah at the station.
Saturday turned out to be a glorious day, much more like a winters day in Australia rather than the grey cloudy days that everyone was telling me to expect. So to make the most of the weather we ended up going and sitting in the Hibury Fields and people watching. There were already many of the spring bulbs flowering, it just felt like it was spring. The Sun was out and the weather was fine. It didn't matter that I was outside wearing a jacket.
In the arvo Sarah and myself ended up catching up with Bruno in a pub right near the Tower bridge, right across form the HMN Belfast. A fantastic view for a couple of drinks for a while.
Sunday the weather was just as fantastic! The sun was again shining, so I decided to sleep in and then sleep in my bed when the sun was overflowing into my room. At the moment I am loving the enormous south facing windows that take up most of my wall.
Monday was however straight back to work, a fantastic mysterious foggy morning that once again had enormous amounts of sunshine. It made the P.E. lesson, a game of rounders, even better.
