Shrove Tuesday

Wow what a fantastic day! It started with a beautiful morning that was still and calm and the views over the canal from the extra large floor to celing windows that form one of the walls to my classroom. This beautiful morning was only disturbed by the arrival at 8:45 in the morning of the school children who arrived with their usual noise and bustle. They were however not to get me down. As soon as the day was underway and the lessons being taught it fell into a general tuesday, the day of the week that is still too close to the start of the week, but closer to the end of the week than Monday.

After the school day had finished i headed off to the shops to pick up some supplies in order to cook up a storm for 'Shrove Tuesday'. I ended up having a great meal of Lamb chops with vegies and after a while to set my meal settle I decided to cook up some of the best pancakes that I have ever made. I guess that the girls were just plain lucky that I got the mixture pretty much perfect. So therefore Vicky, Adele, Rachel, Lucy and myself were able to enjoy a fantastic bunch of Pancakes for Shrove Tuesday.

What a great way to end a pretty much average day. :) Now what do I give up for Lent?
