Monmothshire

Erin was in town this weekend and to keep ourselves busy we went for a day out in Monmothshire. We headed off in the morning and stopped briefly just north of Chepstow for a walk up a hill and a view out over the valley to the Severn Estuary.

From there we headed off to Tintern Abbey. We had been there not that long ago but Erin had never been there befor, so we decided to visit. As the ast time Sarah and I visited, the ruins of the Abbey were just as impressive. Erin went so far as to say that it was one of the most impressive churches that he had visited on his traves around Europe.

A honey bee working the dandylion in the grass of the Abbey. I forgot to change the camera settings and was a bit annoyed wiht myself after I reviewed the pictures. Doh!
