Summer at last?

Tuesday turned out to be a fantastic day for the sun to shine and at last I had thought that Summer had arrived. I SMSd Alex and he asked wether the weather had turned or not and at that point in time, I guessed that it had. But this morning I woke to the gentle grey cloudy skies that had recently dropped a few rain drops on the city of London. Enough I to settle the dust and clear the air a bit.

Now all I am left with is the grey skies again. It is unbelieveable how different you actyually feel when the sun is shining. All I can think of now is the comments that the fellow staff members had made about summer; "Summer is not guranteed", "That was your summer Edwin, we are already into Autumn again", "we were wanting global warming to arrive, but not his type of global warming".

Oh well all I can think of now is a fantastic trip to Nice, where I will see SJ for a little while and be able to soak in the amazin MED sun for a couple of hours. And of course there is the day off tiomorrow.
