The Christmas Feeling.

Yesterday the Christmas spirit came a bit early. Yay! Adele and myself went out and got a Christmas tree for the house. We looked high, we looked low and eventually we found a Christmas tree in Sainsbury. Well you might say that a Christmas tree from a supermarket may be a bit plain, but ours is a fantastic. Especially as it was the last one AND we put it up together [Ahhh].

It was quite a journey or actualy an expedition in getting the tree. We started off looking down Blackstock road, but to our dissapointment the tree sellers were long gone, only leaving meager branches and needles lying in the gutter. It was quite a dissapointment :(. Moving forward we set off down to the christmas shop, a shop that appears before christmas then just as soon as it appeares it dissapears. They didin't have any trees or even and decorations. So off we went to Green Lanes where we would find Argos, Next and Sainsburys. All would disspoint us initially. Argos decided that they would run out of stock on everything that we wanted and Next decided to hike up all their prices on their trees and make it impossible for us to want to buy one. Sainsbury's had to our delight some live trees, but they were just a bit too expensive and had no decorations. So we eventually decided on our tree, much to my delight as we had been tramping round for nearly two hours and i was getting tired.

We got a cab back to the house and put up the tree while Adele made some mulled wine. Rachael came home and was cheered up a bit and the Lucy arrived and was filledwith some christmas spirit. By the time Vicki arrived home we were settlerd in drinking mulled wine and had also invided the guys from downstairs up for a chat. It seemed that the house was filled with Christmas spirit. It was a nice evening that was topped off when i gave the girls their presents so they could open them together.

What a beautiful tree and it has real lights, sounds like a good party and much cheer by all.Why were the tree sellers gone had they sold out or is it normal to finish selling so soon before Christmas. There are still plenty around here forsale. The pleasure of putting up your first tree will stay with you for years, especially with the photo's taken . HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL AND A GREAT 2008.
