Porthmadog

So we were off on another camping trip in the van and disaster struck about 2 hours in. The van started to missfire and loose power. So heading up a hill, with a coach and loads of cars closing in from behind, I was able to pull into a layby. I had a look at the engine and referred to the haynes manual but to no avail. So the RAC had to be called. The really nice guy checked the distributor, plugs, leads, a compression check, and they were all ok. So finally before calling a tow truck he pulled off the rocker cover and discovered a valve stuck open. He tightened up a screw then Steve was given a clean bill of health before we headed off. What a great way to have am adventure.

New day, a new job.

Today I started my new position in the company. So far it has been ok. Not too much stress yet and seeing how nice a day it is it has been even better.

Cleaning up.

Well we have pretty much finished moving into the new house in Ninian rd and after sorting out most of the inside our attention turned to the outside. So to make a start we borrowed some tools and went to work. I started of trimming back the tree that resides in the yard, followed by removing as mush of the weeds that I could. This was a start, so next we borrowed Peters gurney to blast the old cement pavers to give them a new lease of life. Sarah took charge here and she found it very appealing, even at one point suggesting a career move. Looking almost brand new we moved in a few pots to help bring a bit more life to the garden. More to follow.
