It was a nice and warm afternoon so I know went for a bike ride along the taff trail. When I got back I got went to the park and watched this nice sunset. Well as the saying goes, 'red at night...' it looks like it may be another nice day tomorow.

We'll smoke em out.

Yesterday there was a bit of excitement. As i was driving down the motorway we were nearly home when all hell broke loose. Something happened to the van. Something broke, then the van started to rev to the red line and beyond. After a couple of seconds of this i turned the van off. Nothing happened , it was possessed. I coasted it to a stop then got out and watched the enormous amounts of smoke that was pouring from the van. It took about 5 min for the turbo to burn up all the engine oil and that is when the engine finally siezed and cooked out. And that is how you get one dead engine.

Banksy

The street artist banksy has just opened an exhibition in the bristol museum. He snuck in and secretly changed most of the museum. So today we decided to go and have a look. Turns out so did everybody else in the uk. So faced with am hour wait we decided not to check it out. The trip was not a complete waste as when we were walking back through bristol we saw This piece of banksy art on the side of a three storey building. I think that that was the best one as it was out on the street where if became famous in the first place.

This was an old school ferry crossing and this dude made a killing. 1 pound per person and you find this out when you get to the other side.

Forest of Dean

Last weekend, the last in May we decided to go camping in the forest of Dean. We could have not picked a better weekend. The weather was fantastic! After getting to the Campsite at Bracelands we set up camp then went for a 10 km walk through the forest. I even saw a Deer and a fawn, although it was not in the open it was still cool to see. A bit harder to see than Kangaroos, Deer are not nearly as cool to see! In the evenong we had a BBQ along with a couple fo beers. My hayfever was playing up so I decided to take another tablet to try and combat it. It only just put me to sleep. Oh well.

On Sunday we lazed around in the morning before striking camp and heading off to the river. We ast around for a bit then decided to go for another walk. We went from one bridge to the other, around 5km each way, only this time it was in my thongs. It was a great day out and we were both tired from our acitivities.
